EASN is involved in and or supports numerous pan-European projects. 

Current 

Collaborating Automotive Regions(CAR), (European Regional Development Fund)

Aims to promote, protect and strengthen the competitveness and long term sustainability of West Midlands Automotive SMEs to benefit the industry both regionally and at European level.

ENEVATE (Interreg IVB North West Europe)

Aims to facilitate and support the accelerated introduction of electric mobility in NW Europe through structured trans-national co-operation between public authorities and business representatives.  This will boost innovation and increase competitiveness within the electric vehicle sector.  

Developing

EPISTEME (Interreg IVB Central Europe)

Addresses the need to improve skills and training in the electric vehicle market. The European automotive sector needs this knowledge base to thrive in these changing times.

BATTERIE

Aims to develop the infrastructure required to enable the widespread use of electric- powered cars. This will be delivered through work packages including the standardisation of electrical charging points throughout Europe. This includes consideration of the impact on local landscape and economies and developing test networks. BATTERIE also aims to enhance consumer understanding of electric vehicles. BATTERIE will be run with environmental sustainability, transnational interoperability and knowledge transfer as key success factors.

Value Networks

EASN's Value Networks are a new approach to analysis, management and policy within the automotive industry. They adress industrial needs, from legislative change to increasing profit margin.

Tier-2 Groups

Aims to improve the competiveness and innovation levels of Tier 2 suppliers in the European automotive industry. Objectives include helping Tier 2 suppliers to access finance and meet the purchasing requirements of major manufacturers. A Tier 2 Group lobbying platform will represent transnational views to a high level European audience. Trade visits for the Tier 2 Groups will demonstrate best-practise concepts, stimulating the automotive industry.
